About Anthony
Anthony (“Tony”) King brings over 30 years of corporate finance and public accounting experience. He specializes in evaluating and implementing financial plans, cash management systems, and technology-driven financial controls. His broad expertise spans banking and treasury operations, corporate accounting, tax research and compliance, insurance and risk management, and the design of technology-based financial information systems.
As the firm’s President and Managing Partner, Tony directs the business advisory and consulting practice, overseeing all information technology and management advisory engagements. He also provides CFO, tax compliance, and accounting services to clients across the technology, hospitality, retail, and professional services industries.
Tony’s corporate background includes leadership roles such as Vice President of Finance and Controller for national hospitality management firms, Assistant Vice President of Finance for one of the nation’s largest insurance brokerage firms, and Supervisor of Tax and Treasury functions with a Big 4 accounting firm.
He holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Tony is a licensed CPA in Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina, and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.
Tony’s professional affiliations include the AICPA, Maryland Association of CPAs, National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and ISACA. He has served as Board Treasurer of the Alzheimer’s Association of Central Maryland, as a volunteer instructor at Baltimore’s Small Business Resource Development Center, and as a former member of the AICPA Private Companies Practice Section Executive Committee. He is also the Immediate Past Chairman of NABA’s Division of Firms, a national consortium of minority-owned accounting and consulting firms.
